New Regiment for protecting this country

After 30 years the army that has protected this country so well, and seen us through thick and thin and gotten us out of so many wars that people were unsure of are now changing there training regimen. This could have a positive effect or a negative effect? I think it should have a positive effect to it. How do you feel?
